A scanner attached with an imprinter
Unlike regular sheet-fed scanners, Avision AV220D2M+ is a quality sheet-fed scanner with an imprinter. The innovative combination allows users to scan and print alphanumeric characters, date, time, document count and custom message vertically at the rear side of your document to organize document more efficiently. With the TWAIN user interface, the imprinter allows users to stamp the specified number or character on different positions with different fonts, or styles on the scanned image to trace digital documents.
Reading MICR line on checks
What is best, with the optional MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) reader, the MICR line (the bottom line) on a check can be scanned and converted to readable check information such as bank number or account number for indexing electronic checks.
Easy-to-use Button Scanning
In addition, the AV220D2M+ is bundled with the easy-to-use program, the Button Manager. With this program, users are able to complete scan with a touch of the “Scan” button on the scanner. When the buttoned is pressed, the scanner automatically scan your documents and convert them to PDF, TIFF, JPEG, GIF, or BMP, or searchable PDF and then send the file to a designated folder, or other destination applications such as e-mail, printer, or your favorable software application. The original step-by-step procedure is replaced with only a single touch of the button.
A fast and duplex scanner for documents and cards
The AV220D2M+ is a 55 page-per-minute, duplex sheetfed scanner that is designed to scan documents in a fast, and reliable quality. With the front input tray, the scanner allows you to scan embossed plastic cards up to 1.25mm smoothly. Ultrasonic multi-feed detection assures users all of the critical documents are imaged correctly.

The Avision AV220D2M+ comes with TWAIN and ISIS drivers, and are bundled with a suite of powerful software applications that include Avision Button Manager, AvScan 5.0, and ScanSoft PaperPort 11SE.
