The Vigitron Vi6100VT is an advanced active device that transmits high resolution color or black and white video over unshielded twisted pair wires. The Vi6100VT uses category 2-7 UTP wire at distances up to 6,000 feet (1,830 m) and is designed to be paired with any Vigitron Vi6100 series active receivers.

The Vi6100VT is a compact unit. The power requirement is 12-24 Volts AC or DC, auto-ranging and reverse polarity protected. This flexibility allows to power the transmitter from the same power supply as the camera, or it can used with the provided power supply. Along with the screw-less wire terminals makes the Vi6100VT very easy to install. The Vi6100VT has a single distance adjustment. It also has built-in surge suppression to protect video equipment against damaging voltage spikes.

Its integrated ground loop isolation prevents disturbing "hum-bars" common with long distance installations and its excellent crosstalk and noise immunity provides quality video up to the maximum distance.
