ADVANCED SOFTWARE LIC SWITCH 7700 4-SLOT CHASSIS IN (WIN-32) The 3Com Switch 7700 4-Slot Advanced Feature Software provides additional capabilities for more sophisticated Enterprise networks.

Included in this add-on package:

BGP4, a dynamic routing protocol allowing autonomous systems to exchange reachability information
IS-IS, a link state hierarchical routing protocol used with the ISO's Connectionless Network Protocol (CLNP)
SSH v1.5 authentication and SNMP v3 encryption of network management communication between a management station and the switch

Only for use with the 3Com Switch 7700 4-Slot switch.
Enables BGP4 (Border Gateway Protocol version 4), IS-IS (Intermediate System-to-Intermediate System), SSH v1.5 authentication, and SNMP v3 (Simple Network Management Protocol version 3) encryption
