Potential-free glass breakage detector, white
- No operating voltage necessary
- Ideal for use with the FU5120-FU5121 wireless opening detectors
- Protection class: IP65
- Up to 4 square metres detection range
Use the potential-free glass breakage detector to monitor individual window panes. The detector is fixed to the window pane to be protected. The ultrasound signals resulting from glass breakage are detected and reported to the alarm centre.
The passive glass breakage detector is fixed between 20 and 50 mm from the window frame. Important: The detector should be fixed in such a way that you notice immediately if there is no contact to the pane. The cable should not be in danger of being damaged when the window is opened and closed. If fixed in a corner of the window, the passive glass breakage detector monitors an area of up to 4m². Its maximum monitoring radius is 2 metres.
The potential-free glass breakage detector works with an integrated piezo element. It reacts to the sound frequency caused by breaking glass. In the event of an alarm, a CMOS relay is opened. The passive glass breakage detector is potential-free, i.e., no voltage supply is required. This makes the detector ideal for wireless systems. The passive glass breakage detector is available in white (FU7300W) and brown (FU/300B).
