The System 2 family was designed to cool the mid-size enclosure. Whether a wooden cabinet holding shelves or a rack, a video projector in a box, or a small closet, there's a member of the System 2 family that will solve the overheating problem. The original System 2 is an "all-in-one"; the fans and controller are mounted on a gasketed panel; just cut a 14" x 5.5" (approximate - don't cut
before receiving unit) hole in the back panel of the enclosure, and provide an air input opening. The two thermal sensors are clipped to whatever generates the most heat in the enclosure; video projector, hi-def cable box, or surround-sound amplifier, the sensors will adjust the speed of the 2 exhaust fans automatically
and turn them off when the sensed equipment approaches room temperature. Maximum allowed fan speed is low; noise level approaches inaudibility.
When a more flexible mounting technique is needed, the System 2 Kit solves the problem. Available with 2 fans (the Kit) or with 4 fans (the 2+2 Kit), the kits give the installer the ability to mount the fans in the best possible location in a particular installation. In the side of a cabinet? Above a closet door? Through a wall (interior, of course!)? Follow the guidelines in our white paper on "Cooling
the Mid-Sized Enclosure" (call or e-mail us for a copy) and let the Kits simplify your cooling problems.
