1 x USB 2.0, Wireless, AOS 17.8+ The NetVanta USB Wireless WAN NIM is a plug-in module for ADTRAN’s NetVanta routers supporting multiple providers USB modem devices for broadband access. When utilized with a NetVanta router, cellular service provided via the USB modem can act as the primary WAN connection, or as a backup/disaster recovery link.

Supported by all NetVanta Platforms with a Network Interface Module (NIM) running AOS 17.8 or greater.

Service availability and download rates depend on the service plan and carrier of choice. The supported modems listed will provide a compelling alternative to traditional wire-line solutions when used with the NetVanta USB WWAN NIM. When utilized with a NetVanta router, cellular service provided via the USB modem can act as the primary WAN connection, or as a backup/disaster recovery link.
