Integrated Amplifiers MAP 102
The amplifier MAP102 represents a true technological achievement.
He meets the classical functions and technological requirements of an audiophile amplifier, and meets also new functions such as PC input, i-Pod inputby jack 3.5 mm, and a MP3 input by USB key.
With the MAP102, nothing was left to chance. All the components are sound-friendly and its large toroidal transformer guarantees a high reserve of power, as well as a delicate and subtle rendering of your favorite music.
Besides, the amplifier MAP102 is of an outstanding design in its category. Indeed, a "HIGH BIAS" switch on the rear panel of the device enables to commute the amplifier in class A* up to 16 Watts. Beyond this limit, the amplifier commutes automatically in class AB** to reach an output of 80 Watts per channel.
A tone control Bass/Medium/Treble ( can be disconnected) permits to adjust the different frequencies for those who want. And 4 equalization curves for i-Pod and USB inputs, as a High Level function to optimize the i-Pod level.
The numerous plugs available enable many connections to different sources, such as a phono input for a turntable equipped with a magnet moving cartridge as well as a plug for a headset. It is also possible to disconnect the pre amplifier section, from the amplifier section, to use a subwoofer for example.
A remote control device delivered with MAP102 will make it easier to use.
* Class A imposes a constant current in the power transistors whatever the requested power ( up to 16 Watts, in the case of MAP102), which significantly improves the dynamic response of the amplifier.
