Integrated Amplifiers MAX 250
The MAX 250 meets the classical functions and technological requirements of an audiophile amplifier. The number of plugs enable numerous connections to different sources, such as a phono input, for a turntable equipped with a MM cartridge as well as Aux inputs.
The MAX 250 has also an USB input in order to connect directly a computer so you can listen your audio files, internet radios as the High Fidelity streaming websites. The MAX 250 has analog inputs for computer, Ipod by jack 3.5mm, and MP3 input by USB key. It is also possible to disconnect the pre-amplifier section, from the amplifier section, ie to use a subwoofer connected on the second output of the preamplifier.
With the MAX 250, nothing was left to chance, all the components are sound-friendly and its large toroïdal transformer guarantees a high reserve of power, as well as a delicate and subtle rendering of your favorite music. Besides, the amplifier MAX 250, is of an outstanding design in its category. In fact, a commutator "HIGH BIAIS" in the rear panel of the device, enables to commute the amplifier in class A* up to 16 Watts. Beyond this limit, the amplifier commutes automatically in class AB** to reach an output of 90 watt per channel.
A tone control Bass/Medium/Treble ( can be disconnected) permits to adjust the different frequencies for those who want. And 4 equalization curves for i-Pod and USB inputs, as a High Level function to optimize the i-Pod level.
A plug for a headset will permit you to listen music even late in the night.
A remote control device delivered with the MAX 250 will make it easier to use.
*Class A imposes a constant current in the power transistors whatever the requested power(up to 16 Watts, in the case of the MAX 250), which significantly improves the dynamic response of the amplifier.
**Class AB adjusts a variable current in the power transistors according to the requested power.
