Hikuri, Oval serving plate
The first porcelain table service designed by Guido Venturini, featuring smooth concave surfaces that might have been made by water, is the fruit of a long development cycle: begun in 1998, the project saw the light of day in 2001 in a white version ("Pluto"), followed by the decorated versions, “Hikuri” (2002) and “Blue rose” (2003). In 2003, following research into extending the choice within the service, three new pieces were presented: a small bowl, a milk jug and a sugar bowl.
