Dock the AV400 in the TV Cradle and let it record up to 400 hours* of TV programs and movies directly from a TV, VCR, cable box, or satellite tuner. Once you have connected the cradle for the first time, you will not have to reconnect the cables each time you get home. Just dock the AV400 and you are ready to record or view files on the TV.
While you are busy doing other things, the Recording Scheduler automatically finds and digitally records the programs and movies that interest you. The AV400 starts recording based on the time and duration of the recording schedule you have established.
With this new 3.0.01 software for your AV420, you can get (via purchase, download, subscription or rental) protected video and music content from PlaysForSure™ branded web sites, by using your PC(1) (20GB device only after 3.0.01 firmware update). This includes music and video services such as MSN Music, Musicmatch®, MusicNow®, Napster®, WalMart® Music, and CinemaNow®. Using the High-speed USB 2.0 interface, Windows Media® Player 10 will easily auto-synchronize the downloaded media to your AV420 when you connect it to your PC, or if need be, convert your media to one of the AV420 compatible formats (WMA and WMV(2)).
