Banika is built around the concept of a professional rotisserie: Food is grilled in front of the vertical charcoal or wood fire, while being slowly rotated by a spit rod and motor. These are held in place by a stainless steel carriage, which can be moved closer and further away from the heat source by couple of telescopic slides. The carriage also holds a professional, stainless steel gastronorm container to catch the juices dripping from the food. Large forks and an adjustable grill basket allow a large variety of foods to be grilled. In addition to its cooking functions, Banika can also be used as an outdoor fireplace!
