Filter Indicators: Humidifiers and Air Purifiers use filter service indicators to ensure the highest level of comfort and performance. A small light will illuminate indicating its time to replace the existing filter. This ensures the air cleaner is working at its optimal efficiency, delivering the cleanest possible air for you to breathe.
HEPA Filtration: This type of filtration is the kind used in submarines and hospitals—where clean air is needed most. HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. To meet the criteria of a HEPA air cleaner, the filter must remove airborne particulate as small as 0.3 microns from the air that passes through the filter. There are two types of HEPA filters: 99% and 99.97%.
Ionization: Our models feature an independent ionizer – which means you can turn the ionizer on or off whether the air cleaner is running or not. The ionizer releases negative ions into the air which join with positively charged particles such as smoke, dust or pollen to form larger particles that are more readily captured by the HEPA filter. This helps to keep your home cleaner – without all the hard work!
