We take the Aquaris U Plus beyond the standard metal finish, using it for the first time on the rear of this smart phone. Its curved lines are not only elegant but also embrace the screen to improve its ergonomics. The manufacturing process begins with an exhaustive mechanical design, and ends up with the aluminium being anodized and sandblasted until the perfect colour, polished texture and sensational feel is achieved. Our camera application helps you get the best out of each photo. The rear 13-MP camera with f/2.2 focal aperture allows you to freeze action thanks to Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) technology or take pictures of subjects with high contrast between light and dark tones using High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology eliminating non-existent light and shadow and making your photos more realistic. Plus, if you want to retouch your photos you can save them in RAW.

Your selfies will now be much better. Thanks to the Selfie Indicator function that tells you where to direct your gaze so that you always come out looking at the camera. This, combined with the quick shutter speed, makes it much easier to take them: no more juggling acts!

With the function Tap back, you go back to the application you were using previously with two quick taps on the right touch button. Plus, with Double tap, you active the screen with two taps and deactivate it by tapping twice on the notification bar.

The equalizer processes the sound making changes to improve it. It comes with 5 widths, 11 pre-set modes, +1 configurable mode, and the option to boost the base. If you like listening to music with the screen deactivated and you wish to change the song, you can use the Next song mode to go to the previous or next track by long-pressing the volume buttons.
<b>Personalise your notifications.</b>
Thanks to the configurable LED mode, you can choose the flashing colour and frequency, add notifications or modify its behaviour when charging or in Do Not Disturb. With Ambient display, you can receive notifications while the screen is deactivated, making it light-up enough to be able to read without having to use up your battery.

The slots for nano-SIM and microSD cards share the same tray. You can choose the nano-SIM + microSD card option and increase its capacity to 256 GB or the Dual nano-SIM option and activate two telephone numbers.

We have enabled the Wi-Fi Assist mode to prevent your Aquaris U Plus connecting automatically to Open Wi-Fi networks without having access to the Internet.
