The ProClip is a mounting bracket for the vehicles dashboard. Onto the ProClip you can install e.g. a holder for your mobile phone or PDA or a handsfree set etc. Safe and convenient -always within easy reach. The ProClip is car specific and easy to install. The installation is quick, no special tools or dismantle of the dashboard is required and it will not damage the interior of the vehicle. Made in black ABS plastic. Comes with detailed instructions. Left mount Please read all of the instructions and look at the pictures before attaching the ProClip. Note: Any horizontal/wide device attaching to this ProClip needs a tilt swivel on the back of the holder as an extension so the device can clear the instrument panel.
1. Use the enclosed alcohol pad to clean the area where the ProClip is to be installed. Press the thin end of one of the enclosed gap openers into the corner seam/gap between the two dashboard sections, to widen the gap. Then the second gap opener into the seam/gap, to widen the gap further. Peel off the cover of adhesive tape on the ProClip.
2. Hold the ProClip in an almost 90 degree angle towards the dashboard and press the curved upper edge into the gap between the dashboard and the air vent.
3. Flip the ProClip forward, towards the gap openers, so the curved upper edge hooks underneath the air vent panel. Place your fingers behind the face plate and bend it towards you so the angled edge flexes away from the dashboard. Then hook it into the gap next to the gap opener. Press firmly forward on the lower part of the face plate, to make sure the angled edge is all the way into the gap. Pull out the gap openers.
4. The ProClip is in place.
