Starting with an IP66 rating for vandal resistance thanks to the durable polycarbonate resin capsule and die-cast aluminum enclosure and a unique lens shock absorbing mechanism for the Genuine Canon 111° wide angle, 3x optical zoom lens, make this camera ideal for hostile environments where it may be subject to abuse such as correctional facilities, public transportation centers and schools. Exceptional low-light performance, and customizable image quality controls and settings work together to complete a suite of high performance capability.
The VB-H630VE also features Canon's unique built-in Remote Adjustment Function for ease of camera lens positioning which allows installers to save time, labor and expense by using a password-protected Internet connection to remotely fine-tune a camera's viewing area and focus settings whenever it's required (an especially handy feature in multiple-camera installations).
The Genuine Canon lens on the VB-H630VE features all the advanced optical technologies you would expect in a Canon professional product. Aspherical lens elements and multilayer coatings work to produce a high quality image, day or night. The images the VB-H630VE captures are brilliant thanks to its 2.1 Megapixel Resolution (1920 x 1080) and advanced DIGIC DV III Image Processor, and the powerful DIGIC NET II Processor allows simultaneous streaming of M-JPEG and H.264 codecs in multiple resolutions (1080p, 720p and 4:3 category video sizes) for remarkable flexibility.
A range of video analytics and custom video settings lets you tailor the camera to capture your images just the way the location and security requirements demand. This camera is also ONVIF 2.4 / Profile S Conformant so it can be seamlessly integrated into many security systems.
