Canon's VB-M42 PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) Network Camera brings a high standard of image quality and capability to meet the demanding needs of the security marketplace. With a native 1.3 Megapixel resolution (1280 x 960) and a 20x optical zoom lens which has a Pan/Tilt mechanism that is both fast and precise, you can capture detailed images of targets - even when in motion. Those images are sent through the sophisticated Canon DIGIC DV III Image Processor which results in crisp, clear video of your surveillance area. It also features exceptional low-light performance and advanced, customizable image quality controls and settings which make the VB-M42 very effective in some of the most challenging installation locations.
The VB-M42's powerful DIGIC Net II Processor allows simultaneous streaming of M-JPEG and H.264 codecs in multiple resolutions (720p and 4:3 category video sizes) to meet various end-user needs. The range of on-board video analytics and functions with which the VB-M42 PTZ Network Camera is equipped makes it very adaptable to specific monitoring needs. Maximum interoperability with other 3rd party ONVIF Profile S recording systems is ensured thanks to it being ONVIF 2.4 / Profile S conformant. Further, a built-in SD card slot and various power options all combine to help ensure that this camera will meet or exceed your many demands for network security, feature performance, installation versatility and economy in use.
