Re-Size/Trimming
Custom-made: With Re-Size/Trimming you can change the size of the picture already in the camera and sections of a picture can be saved as its own shot. In this way, you can for example cut out only the face of a person and have it printed as a photo without using a computer or complicated software.
EXILIM Engine 2.0
Works quickly and provides great recording quality: the new EXILIM Engine 2.0. The extremely powerful image processor combines multiple components in a compact space, offering sufficient capacity for such features as the Auto Tracking AF function, hue adjustment to optimise dark areas, targeted noise elimination in critical colour areas and quick image processing. And the new EXILIM Engine 2.0 also ensures quick reaction times and long battery operating times – and all of this naturally with very low energy consumption.
And this is how it works:
The 10.1 megapixel resolution makes it possible to use an innovative method: a small area at the edge of the CCD chip is "switched off". The picture in the middle of the chip is now enlarged. This turns the 3x optical zoom into a 4.3x equivalent zoom – and the resolution remains at its high level of 5 megapixels. With a VGA resolution, you can even obtain a zoom factor of 17.1 – to get even closer to the action.
