380W Redundant Power Supply Unit The Linksys RPS1000 supplies redundant power for up to one of six connected switches or NAS devices in a convenient, 1-rack-unit form. It helps ensure uninterrupted operation and protection against device power supply failures by providing seamless failover for Linksys Network Storage System devices and select Switches. The failover behavior for the RPS is “first-come, first-served.” When a failure is detected, the RPS1000 provides power to the failed device instantaneously such that the attached device does not suffer loss of functionality or reboot. Additionally, the affected Switch logs the power supply failure event in its local log file as well as to a central event manager via SNMP traps or Syslog messages. The system supports NSS4000/NSS4100 4-Bay and NSS6000/NSS6100 4-Bay Advanced Network Storage System devices and SFE2000/SFE2000P 10/100 Ethernet and SGE2000/SGE2000P 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet switches. The RPS1000 automatically delivers the appropriate amount of power to the attached device.
