Cooltek C3

HTPC / Mini ITX - Micro-ATX, 2 x 3.5", 2.2 kg Under the label "Jonsbo - powered by Cooltek" we present high quality cases for demanding users.

The C3 belongs to a new series of high-quality media-server cases, which is aimed at price-conscious users, who do not want to make any compromise on quality. The case uses brushed aluminum and shines with its superb quality. The design, which has been kept deliberately simple, ensures that the C3 will perfectly harmonize with any environment.

The I/O-panel with Power-Button, HD audio connectors and 2 x USB 3.0 has been unobtrusively integrated in left side of the case (as seen from the front). Front and back are made of 1.2 mm strong aluminum; top, bottom as well as both side panels are 1.5 mm strong.

Based on our experience and after careful study of current customer requirements, the focus was to develop a case series to implement the original M-ATX/Mini-ITX - thought. For this reason, we decided not to implement assembly areas for optical drives and long video cards. VGA cards up to a length of 275 mm length and CPU coolers up to a height of 175 mm are supported – which allows the installation very powerful configurations with sufficient space for most popular configurations.

The high-quality and well-manufactures Micro-ATX case supports motherboards up to a maximum size of 245 x 245 mm. The installation of the motherboard is very simple - after you remove the left side panel it can be installed with little effort on the right side panel. ATX power supplies can be installed in the C3; a total of four PCI expansion slots are available.

The C3 can be equipped with a 2.5 inch SSD and two 3.5” HDD or two 2.5 inch HDD/SSD and one 3.5 inch drive:

A specially designed mounting frame is located behind the front cover. This can be removed easily after removing a couple of screws. One 2.5 inch drive can be mounted at the bottom of the case. The lateral HDD-holder, which is mounted before the PSU, can either be equipped with a 3.5 inch drive, a 2.5 inch SSD and an 80 mm fan, or two 80 mm fans, if desired.

For effective ventilation the C3 comes with a quiet 120 mm fan preinstalled at the rear panel. For optimal system cooling the left side panel is perforated – especially for when the lateral HDD-holder is used to install two 80 mm fans.

The C3 is aimed at users who are looking for a very stylish PC for typical living room applications. Through its intelligent design, CPU cooler with a maximum height of 175 mm can be installed. In combination with space for up to four expansion cards and high-performance graphics cards you can thus install a compact and at the same potent PC-system in the C3.

The power supply is mounted at the bottom of the case. A filter prevents the intrusion of dust particles into the PSU. Standard-ATX power supplies with a maximum length of 190 mm can be installed in the C3.

The stylish case rests on vibration-decoupled case feet in the appealing looks of high-quality Hifi components.

Two USB 3.0 “Super Speed” connectors are available externally. Thus, external hard disk or USB drives can be connected quickly and easily.
