With the NC-02, we expand our product range with a solid and versatile mid-tower for ATX systems. It is best suited as a base for high-quality office PCs or powerful gaming machines. The window version has a side panel made of “tempered glass” on the left side of the case, which allows a special optical highlight for all hardware enthusiasts.
The elegant MESH front features decorative elements made of brushed aluminum, which can be found at the top and bottom of the front panel. Externally, two 5.25 inch for the installation of optical drives are available. The I/O panel is located at the front of the top panel. It includes 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0, a two-channel fan control, as well as the mandatory HD audio connectors. Power and HDD LEDs, as well as the power and reset button are located here as well.
The case is stable and high quality steel frame - folded and deburred edges prevent the danger of cuts during hardware installation. The interior is completely black and offers a generous cable management. The cover for the power supply also comes with several openings for cable routing.
The internal structure is deliberately two-parted. The power supply and HDD cage are separated from the motherboard area by a steel sheathing. This gives the chassis an excellent stability on the one hand, and on the other it also allows for a thermal separation of the power supply and the mainboard area with the processor and graphics card. Also, the cover for the power supply ensures a tidy interior.
The hard drive cage is located underneath the PSU cover. It can take two 3.5 inch drives. Alternatively, 2.5 inch SSDs can easily be installed here. Two additional 2.5 SSDs can be mounted below the optical drive on the mainboard tray. In addition, there is another mounting for a 2.5 inch drive at the back of the mainboard.
The ventilation system of the NC-02 is quite versatile and meets the highest demands. A 120 mm fan is pre-installed on the rear of the case. Two 120 or 140 mm fans can be installed behind the front. The MESH front and the additional air vents on the side of the front guarantee optimum air exchange. Two 120 mm fans can be mounted underneath the top cover in the back of the case. A magnetic filter on the outside ensures that no dust will enter the interior. Further dust filters can be found behind the front and on the bottom.
The needs of water cooling fans were also considered. The NC-02 allow the easy installation of 240 mm or 280 mm radiators behind the front. It is also possible to accommodate a compact water cooling system with 120 mm radiators at the back of the case.
For the installation of the graphics cards, up to 415 mm are available in the NC-01; the maximum height for CPU coolers is 163 mm. Thus, high-performance gaming systems can easily be installed.
The NC-02 is designed for all conventional ATX power supplies of up to 220 mm in depth. ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards can be installed. Seven PCI slots for expansion cards are available at the back.
