The R680 RAID adapter from ATTO Technologies provides fast 6.0 Gbps SAS/SATA connectivity to Direct Attached Storage devices via 8 external ports accross two SFF-8088 connectors (four ports per connector). With transfer rates of up to a gigabyte per second per port, the R680 is well suited for high-bandwidth workflows such as digital content creation, streaming video and audio, transactional databases, and email and Web servers.
