240V / 30A Output, 20 x 12V/7.2AH, 76kg, Black The CyberPower BP240V30ART3U (240V) External Battery Module (EBM) with DC plug-n-play connections and Fast Charge Technology provide extended battery run-time during power outages for select Smart App Online UPS models. Up to 10 EBMs can be added and fast charging times are maintained thanks to each EBM having a built in battery charger. The typical charging times of 4 hours for the OL6000RT3U and 5 hours for the OL8000RT3U and OL10000RT3U are maintained whether there are 1 or 10 EBMs installed.

Each EBM takes up 3U of rack space and can also be installed in a tower form factor to match the UPS power module. The back panel includes an access panel to the fuses for easy replacement, a resettable circuit breaker to protect against overloads, and a DC breaker to safely remove power from the batteries when connecting or disconnection the EBM. A DC plug-n-play power connector and an AC receptacle for the battery charger make it easy to “daisy-chain“ additional EBMs to a UPS system.
