For Parallel & Serial Printers - These are compact palm-sized devices that allow your office, school computers to print files on shared network printers.
Each print server provides 3 ports to save you the cost. It's the ideal choice for the larger office, department, school, hospital and others. If your workplace has several printers placed at a centralized location, use one print server to connect to as many as 3 printers.
The print servers are equipped with high-speed parallel and serial printer ports, allowing you to share the latest generation of bi-directional laser printers, color ink jets and others. They work with Windows, Novell NetWare, Unix and MacOS AppleTalk environments.
- This print server provides 2 parallel and 1 serial printer ports. It supports 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet connection.
- The parallel port supports HP PJL protocol for bi-directional network printer communication, pro-actively providing the administrator with critical information about the network printers.
- Configuration is through a program operating under Windows, any Internet browser, or Telnet on Unix or TCP/IP. Built-in SNMP MIBs are provided.
