The DFE-670TXD is a dual speed adapter designed to allow mobile users to easily access databases and resources available on a local network. The DFE-670TXD offers the flexibility of having compatibility with either Cardbus or PCMCIA controllers. The DFE-670TXD utilizes NWay auto-negotiation to automatically connect to any standard compliant switch or hub at 10Mpbs or 100Mpbs in either half or full duplex mode.

The DFE-670TXD dual-speed 10/100 Mbps feature adheres to IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u standard, which specify existing 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet technology. Simple plug-and-play feature along with hot swapping capability allows easy detection and installation of the DFE-670TXD in PnP capable operation.
