With support for RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50; the PERC 5/E provides multiple protection options to suit a wide range of applications and non-critical data. It features a high-bandwidth x8 PCI-Express® host interface, 256 MB DDR2 Transportable Battery Backed cache, and 3 Gbps SAS technology. PCI Express® provides a high performance point-to-point link for interconnecting devices and transmitting data. It includes a powerful Intel® IOP333 processor with XScale® Microarchitecture along with a 256 MB DDR2 memory for read and write cache. This product has been tested and validated on Dell™ systems.
