DELL PERC 5/i PCI Express x8 12Gbit/s RAID controller

PERC 5/i, 256MB, Intel IOP333, SCSI RAID, 0, 1, 5, 10, 50, PCI-E PERC 5/i is a PCI Express based Serial Attached SCSI RAID controller that provides enterprise class protection and performance for your Dell PowerEdge™ Server. With support for RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50 PERC 5/i provides multiple protection options to suit a wide range of applications and non-critical data. It uses 3 Gbps SAS technology, which can deliver nearly four times the bandwidth of 320 MBps SCSI. PERC 5/i SAS connectors contain four SAS ports each for a total bandwidth of up to 12 Gbps, or 1200 MBps per connector. It also includes a powerful Intel® IOP333 processor with XScale® Microarchitecture, 256 MB of DDR2 memory for read and write cache and battery backup designed to provide up to 72 hours of protection. This product has been tested and validated on Dell™ systems to ensure it will work with your computer and is compatible with select Dell™ PowerEdge™ Servers . It is supported by Dell™ Technical Support when used with a Dell™ system.
