The multifunction W-AP134 and W-AP135 can be configured through the Dell PowerConnect W-Series Mobility Controller to provide wireless LAN access with:
- Part-time air monitoring
- Dedicated air monitoring for a wireless intrusion prevention system (IPS)
- Remote AP (RAP) functionality
- Secure Enterprise Mesh that provides the security and reliability of a wired LAN
Both APs feature a 10/100BASE-T Ethernet interface and each can operate from standard 802.3af power-over- Ethernet (PoE) sources or a 12-volt DC power supply.
Two antenna options are available. The W-AP134 has external antenna interfaces while the W-AP135 features the same radios with internal antennas. Both are built to provide years of trouble-free operation and are backed by an extended lifetime warranty.
