The DC45 brush bar has both stiff nylon bristles and anti-static carbon fibre filaments. On carpets, the nylon bristles remove ground-in dirt. And on hard floors the carbon fibre filaments remove fine dust.

DC45 has a motorized brush bar and twice the cleaner head power of DC35. This drives the bristles deeper into the carpet with more force, agitating the carpet pile to dislodge dirt and dust.
