Web-enabled fiscal printer Helping retailers and hospitality users save time by quickly issuing large fiscal reports, such as Z-closure, the FP-90III has a powerful, 400MHz fiscal processor. Up to 10 years of fiscal data and up to 20,000 PLU (product look-ups) can be stored in the printer's database. Enabling convenient remote control and generation of fiscal reports, the FP-90III has a LAN interface. This allows multiple printers to be connected to a network instead of individual PCs for easier management. In addition, the FP-90III has built-in hub function, which allows it to control Epson TM or FP series printers using XML commands. The printer can receive XML commands from web applications, and communicate directly with browsers supporting HTML 5, such as Internet Explorer® and Chrome™. An internal web server and 8MB memory enables the FP-90II to run web applications for specific POS functions. Users can print without drivers and switch applications without changing printer settings. To ensure customers are served quickly, the FP-90III prints text, barcodes and graphics at up to 260mm/sec, and has an integrated auto-cutter.
