STYLUS RIP F STYLUS PHOTO 2100 IN (NMS)
Epson StylusRIP turns your Epson Stylus printer into a PostScript printer. StylusRIP reads and interprets Adobe PostScript files for your Apple Macintosh or PC, and allows you to print beautiful, accurate color raster images. With the Epson StylusRIP, PostScript printing is no longer a "black art" that is confined to the print professional. Now everyone can provide accurate color visuals and early proofs straight from their Epson Stylus inkjet printer. Adobe PostScript is the standard for high-quality graphic output. In most DTP work, all elements of a document, including text, graphics and images are processed, stored and reproduced using PostScript code. When you print, an application processes the PostScript code and sends the processed image to the printer. As a designer, you need to know that your design will output correctly on a PostScript press, and you may also need to send visuals to your customer for approval. Epson's StylusRIP does this with the minimum of fuss, by providing simple "Chooser level" printer selection on the Mac platform and standard printer selection on the PC, so that it is not necessary for users to learn a new workflow. Using Epson's own half-toning module, the StylusRIP output is optimized for use with your Stylus printer. With all this functionality at your fingertips, it makes sense to network the printer, so the StylusRIP announces itself on an Appletalk network as a PostScript printer. Combining genuine Adobe technology with Epson's own printing expertise, you get the best of both worlds!
