This axe has an optimal 35 degree convex cutting bevel angle for splitting axes. The convex shape strengthens the edge to make it less sensitive to fracture while the balance of the axe makes it safe, comfortable and efficient to use. Its optimal anti shock surface structure ensures a comfortable, firm grip which is further reinforced by the hooked handle end which prevents slippage. As with other axes in the X series range, this axe features a plastic sheath for easy carrying and storage.
