Our RAID card options include 4 to 16 hard drives on a single controller, seamless SAS/SATA support, RAID level-up configuration through RAID 6+0, and up to a whopping 512MB of on-card cache for speedy performance. Add-on support extends to the latest SSD drives, up to 6GB/s in bandwidth, and a robust solution worthy of the name enterprise-class storage.
<b>Intuitive RAID Management Utility</b>
LSI Corporation’s MegaRAID Management Suite™ provides software tools essential for efficiently managing MegaRAID products, whether deployed in an enterprise or a small business. LSI’s collection of applications and tools includes a preboot setup utility and a full spectrum of online RAID management utilities. This new suite of applications lets administrators adjust the SAS topology view from the system host, controller and disk enclosure down to the logical and physical drive level. Extended to enterprise deployments, these tools scale to easily configure, monitor and manage RAID volumes locally over the LAN network.
<b>Optional Battery Backup Support</b>
Gateway and LSI offer a unique battery backup unit (BBU) designed to ensure data safety with any caching policy. The optional BBU ensures that data on the RAID card's cache memory is retained even in the event of a total power failure when using writeback caching policy. The module is automatically charged and communicates battery status directly to the host system.
