Made of top quality, highly flexible fine plastic, CoilBind™ spines can withstand the rigors of everyday office use including bending and frequent handling and will not fade or break over time. This spine holds its shape well and can be compressed down for posting, always bouncing back to its original shape.
With a choice of 12 different sizes, CoilBind™ spines can bind up to a maximum of 265 pages permanently and securely. Page changing is only possible by cutting one end of the spine and unwinding the coil: the amended document must then be re-bound to ensure confidentiality. And the bound pages lie flat with 360 degree rotation for easy reading and convenient note taking and photocopying.
The coil binding process is very quick and simple: just punch your collated pages and load the coil onto the document with your machine or by hand. With all pages and covers threaded, use plastic coil crimpers to ‘crimp’ (or turn over) the ends of the filament and the process is complete.
