Once bound, pages can only be replaced or amended by removal of the wire itself - ideal when page security or confidentiality is an integral requirement of the document. Whether you are a novice or expert binder, wire binding is a relatively easy 4-step process that everyone can master. Simply: 1. Collate the pages you wish to bind. 2. Punch the pages in batches according to the punch capacity of your machine. 3. Insert the punched pages onto the open fingers of the wire to prepare for wire closing. 4. Complete the binding process: with all pages and your chosen covers placed securely, the wire is neatly compressed to form an O-shaped spine and your document is complete. All wires are pre-cut to standard A5 or A4 paper sizes and come with turned ends to ensure there is no sheet loss through continuous rotation and use. The 3:1 pitch (34-hole) wire is suitable for all Standard Wire Machines. GBC 3:1 Pitch Wires are available in 7 different sizes, in both A4 and A5. Choose from 5mm up to 14 mm wires, enabling you to bind documents from 2 to 125 pages.
