The EXT-RMT-4 cabled remote control lets you select and control up to four A/V sources and display devices using your Gefen Switcher or Gefen Matrix Switcher. The EXT-RMT-4 Remote uses widely available CAT5/CAT6 network cable to achieve control at distances of up to 1000 feet away from the Switcher unit.

<b>How It Works</b>

Locate the Switcher in a convenient place next to the source devices. Decide on the remote location that you will operate the Switcher from. Connect an appropriate length of shielded CAT5 or CAT6 cable between the Switcher and the EXT-RMT-4. At the remote location, use the four buttons on the front panel of the EXT-RMT-4 Remote to select A/V sources and display devices.
