The Gigaset CX610 ISDN offers a variety of features specifically designed for children. The direct call function allows you to activate a button on the handset that immediately dials a designated number when pressed – allowing youngsters to place calls quickly and easily. Anonymous calls can be silenced to keep family life undisturbed. If you have a baby in the house, the baby phone function monitors your child while you are in another room or even outside the house. Specify the number the baby phone should call, and it will connect with this number as soon as a certain noise level has been reached. Internal or external lines can be designated. When the baby phone calls you, you can immediately connect with your child – as your voice is projected over speakerphone. With the universal (ISDN) phone line, the Gigaset CX610 ISDN manages multiple numbers. Up to 10 different numbers can be registered on a single device.

Its long talk time of up to 12 hours and standby time of up to 185 hours let conversations continue for as long as – and whenever – you and your family like. It is easy to read and navigate the large TFT colour display – equipped with a modern user interface and jumbo font. You can make incoming calls from specific contacts immediately recognisable by programming ringtones for up to 6 different VIP groups. On the Gigaset CX610 ISDN, it’s also possible to send short messages with the text messaging function that supports notes with up to 612 characters2.
