Gitzo has launched a new aluminum tube: 30% lighter than its predecessor, 1.2mm thick and with built in Anti Leg Rotation system (ALR). It features a brushed matt black finish that improves leg locking performance and minimises light reflection. For the cast components, Gitzo uses top quality aluminum alloys and gravity casting - more expensive than pressure casting, but able to guarantee that components are free from internal air bubbles that could compromise solidity and durability.
