WinTV offers features usually only seen on high-end television sets, like recording TV and channel surf function. Snap and print stills from whatever you're watching. With Hauppauge's WinTV SnapShot function, you can capture still video images in adjustable high resolution modes to 1600x1200 pixels!
WinTV digitizes video using high quality 4:2:2 video sampling. The digitized TV image is sent directly into the memory of your PC's Graphics card without creating overhead for the Processor. So you can work on applications while simultaneously watching TV in a resizeable window.
Make MPEG-1 digital video recordings with our new SoftPVR™. SoftPVR uses your PC's processor to digitally encode your videos to disk in MPEG-1 or DivX® formats. Record from live TV or from external video, schedule your TV recordings with our WinTV-Scheduler, and then use your PC´s CD/DVD burner to create VideoCD's (seperate CD/DVD burning software needed).
Entertainment: The Hauppauge WinTV application has features like channel surf, no-title mode and always-on-top mode, making WinTV easy and convenient to use! Watch TV-in-a-window or full screen from the analogue ready TV tuner. WinTV will also display video from a VCR, camcorder or any other video source (composite/svideo input).
