The ProLiant BL620c G7 offers unmatched scalability and performance in a 2P Intel® Xeon® blade. Two models are now available, one optimized for the Intel Xeon E7-2800 and the other optimized for the Intel Xeon 6500/7500. Two top performing 130W processors are supported along with 32 RDIMM slots for 1.0TB (E7-2800 models) and 512MB (6500/7500 models) of memory for ultimate virtualization efficiency. The four included 10Gb FlexFabric CNA ports support standard Ethernet to advanced networking and the three PCIe Gen2 expansion slots yield an outstanding 96Gb of total I/O bandwidth for up to 133 VMs. The BL620c G7 is also perfect for 2P applications requiring performance and features greater than typical 2P server offerings. The scalability of the BL620c G7 offers up to 800% the memory, an extensive list of RAS features, 20x the embedded Ethernet bandwidth, 4x the VMs, 3x the on-board I/O expansion slots, and 4.8x the total I/O bandwidth than many other 2P blades available today.

Four Embedded HP Virtual Connect 10Gb FlexFabric Adapters
- Four embedded NC553i 10Gb Converged Network Adapter ports deliver extensive bandwidth for network intensive applications with up to 16 connections to network and storage without the need for add-in I/O mezzanine cards
- Integrated Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) and hardware-based iSCSI with iSCSI boot simplify management and lower infrastructure costs by converging LAN and SAN traffic over the same flexible connection

Fully Balanced, Optimized Intel Xeon 2S Architecture
- With major advances in CPU performance, applications are already memory and I/O bound, not processor. Yet, typical server blades are often unbalanced, providing processor performance and density at the expense of proportional memory capacity, I/O bandwidth and storage.
- The E7-2800 and the 6500/7500 series represent Intel's greatest Xeon performance leap in history over the previous gen 7400 series. Rather than provide a processor-heavy design, the BL620c G7 fully optimizes all the capabilities of the E7-2800 and 6500/7500 series multiprocessor 2S architecture.
- Each socket includes the maximum allowable two memory controllers that each have two Intel Scalable Memory Interface (SMI) buses. Each SMI connects to a memory buffer that supports four 16 GB DIMMs for a total of 16 DIMMs per processor socket (32 DIMMs or up to 1.0TB of memory per server).
- Each socket supports 130 watts allowing up to two maximum performing E7-2800 and 6500/7500 series processors
