With HP Performance Advisor XP, you choose the time and period for which performance data is collected - so you can pinpoint activities that significantly
impact your disk array and tune the array accordingly. You can easily monitor storage performance and display usage statistics for your storage system at any level from a complete overview down to individual sub-components. This really helps you stay on top of everything as your system grows. You can also filter hosts, arrays, and array components, so youre only seeing the hosts and arrays you want to see. This helps you and the network both - it makes managing easier and minimizes data collection overhead.<br>
HP believes that software should be designed to adapt to your needs and not the other way around. So we made HP Performance Advisor XP flexible enough to work in a variety of ways. Because who knows whats best for you better than you? Performance Advisor can be used as a stand-alone application across
the Web, so you can work anytime from anywhere. It also integrates into HPs Command View XP platform to give you a single, centralized management solution with a consistent interface for the entire XP family of products. You can use Performance Advisor via GUI or CLI. So you can work the way you like, and... the CLI also enables integration into 3rd party solutions like BMC Patrol, CA Unicenter, etc. With the OpenView SPI for XP disk arrays, Performance Advisor events and alarms can be integrated into VantagePoint Operations. Performance Advisor will also integrate with MeasureWare, including the VantagePoint Performance solution.<br>
