Director Virtual Image Management x86, V1.1 per mangaged processor (1 Year Subscription After License)
A system image is a bootable operating system and additional software in the form of a single raw image file. IBM Systems Director Virtual Image Management helps you store, copy and customize system images to reuse them within system templates for creating virtual servers.Image Management manages the lifecycle of a system image for you. Image Management customizes the image by adding configuration information or removing settings that are no longer needed, depending on what you want to do with the image. For example, when Image Management creates a master image, it automatically cleans the image by removing configuration information such as security keys or logs. As you use system images to create system templates and virtual servers, Image Management changes the configuration information in the images so they are accessible for reuse or so they can be allocated to specific virtual servers.
