The INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS High-Gain Outdoor Parabolic Grid Antenna is used to extend the range of coverage for the wireless network in a single direction. The grid design generates a very narrow focus beam which allows transmitting the wireless signal over an extremely long distance.
Increased Range
Since the High-Gain Outdoor Grid Antenna provides a very high gain of 24 dBi, the distance between two of these antennas can be many miles. For example, if connected to a wireless access point with an output power rating of 1 W, the signal can travel up to 15 km (9 miles).
Even if your wireless connection points are much closer to each other, the grid antenna is your best option. The increased signal gain of the grid antenna generates a much stronger wireless signal, and a stronger wireless signal always translates into higher data throughput.
