IMC Networks iMcV/PIM TP/FO-SM1310/PLUS-ST network media converter

iMcV-PIM: 10 Mbps Ethernet UTP to Fiber iMcV-PIM TP/FO series modular, SNMP managed converters provide a physical layer conversion between 10Base-T and 10Base-FL signals. iMcV-PIM series converters support multi-mode and single-mode fiber types and popular ST, SC connector types.

iMcV-PIM TP/FO series modules are easy to configure and manage with the GUI-based iView² SNMP management application software, or with any other SNMP application such as HP OpenView.

iView² software features an easy-to-use and intuitive Graphical User Interface that enables configuring, monitoring and managing installed media modules from a central location. Via iView² network managers can receive real-time unit and port status information, as well as configure individual modules for LinkLoss and FiberAlert cabling troubleshooting features.

iView² also include automatic updates for software and device firmware, and event/trap management for IMC Networks' and other manufacturers' devices installed in the network. iView² runs standalone on Windows NT/XP/2000; as a standalone Java Application for other operating systems; as a plug-in module for HP OpenView; as a Web Server running under IIS or as a Java Web Servlet.
