<b>INSTAR IN-3011 PoE Pan & Tilt Indoor Camera</b>
The IN-3011 PoE is an allround solution for indoor surveillance. The camera head is remotely controllable and equipped with infrared diodes to utilize night vision in pitch dark environments. It features integrated speakers and a microphone which makes the perfect camera for monitoring your baby or toddler. Any device (i.e. smartphones) can connect to the cameras web interface and allows you to control the pan & tilt feature. With 280 degree horizontally and 120 degree vertically the pan and tilt feature basicly covers the whole area in front of the camera. Thanks to its compact size and its modern design you won't be just limited to use it as a surveillance camera but also for your personal projects. The FTP support allows you to use the IN-3011 PoE as a multi functional webcam for integration on your website. The difference between the IN-3010 PoE and the IN-3011 PoE is that this camera allows you to manually switch off the infrared lights. This enables you to watch through windows without being troubled by reflections.

<b>What is Power-over-Ethernet?</b>
Dank Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) lassen sich viele Geräte auch ohne Stromanschluss via Netzwerk betreiben. Thanks to the Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology it is possible to supply power devices without a dedicated power supply.
In this case, a PoE-enabled switch is required for the power supply. Alternately you can use a PoE injector to inject the power requirements into the same cable responsible for data transfer.
Modern office buildings offer countless network connection but a sparse amount of power sockets. With the use of PoE, power sockets are not even required anymore nor are they essential for our PoE cameras to work. Most devices only need a fraction of the max. power output of a conventional socket. So by using PoE enabled devices on both ends will not only save you from the troubles with cable apocalypse but also save your remaining power sockets for other devices.
INSTAR also offers the IN-PoE1000 PoE Injector. This optional product is compatible with all INSTAR PoE cameras.
