Ethernet 5.0 IO, manual and automatic connection
INSYS Ethernet RS232-Gateway for control cabinet
INSYS Ethernet makes it possible to connect applications with a serial port to an existing ethernet LAN - simply and cheaply. Any device with network access can serve as receiver - also via internet. Windows programs can communicate with the remote application just as if the devices were directly connected - thanks to the free virtual COM port driver.
Due to compatible AT commands, INSYS Ethernet can replace a modem connection via Ethernet and Internet.
FunctionsIP Protocols:TCP/IP, UDP/IP, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP
Inputs/Outputs (IO):2 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs
Remote control via IO Tunneling: The input status can be continually transmitted to the outputs of a second INSYS Ethernet
General:Remote configuration via Telnet
10-bit and 11-bit data formats
automatic connection or dial-up
Port
INSYS Ethernet connects to the local application (e.g. a control program) via the serial port (RS-232). For modems with ethernet access, please refer to the link on MoRoS.
INSYS Ethernet can be configured with the free software HSComm (Download information on the right) or directly using AT commands - locally or via the network.
