The Intel® Storage System SSR212CC is a complete hardware solution that can be coupled with one of a number of different industry software solutions to create a storage area network (SAN), network attached storage (NAS) or direct attached storage (DAS) appliance. Operating systems support as of May 2006 include Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0, Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003*, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition.
