The INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS 3-Port Parallel Print Server allows the users on your network to share up to three printers. Provide your users with the appropriate choice of printer (fast speed, lower speed economy, black and white, color, etc.) and save money by preserving existing investments and avoiding the cost associated with redundant printers attached directly to computers. The print server’s easy-to-use Windows installation wizard allows for quick installation and setup, and can also be conveniently configured from any network client that supports Web browsing.
Supports Major Operating Systems.
The 3-Port Parallel Print Server supports all the major operating systems, including Windows, MAC and Unix/Linux.
Peer-to-Peer and Server-Based Printing Supported.
Supports both peer-to-peer and server-based printing. LAN clients can connect directly with the print server to execute printing jobs (peer-to-peer printing); or, clients can send jobs first to a server (queuing jobs) and allow the server to connect with the print server to execute the printing of the jobs (server-based printing).
Provides Complete Printing Methods.
The 3-Port Parallel Print Server provides LPR, IPP, SMB/TCP, e-mail printing, raw printing and Unix Logical Printer printing methods. You can choose the best printing method according to your environment.
Supports DHCP Server/Client.
The print server can act as a DHCP server, allowing your LAN clients to automatically obtain an IP address; or, it can act as a DHCP client, allowing for easy integration to your existing network.
Fault-Tolerant Firmware Upgrades.
The 3-Port Parallel Print Server supports firmware upgrades via a Web interface, and includes a fault-tolerant upgrade function that allows for upgrades to recover and complete in the event of a network problem during an upgrade.
