The MIMO Wireless Turbo G PCI Card is a 32-bit PCI Card adapter that allows you to connect your desktop PC to wireless networks at farther distances than before. The MIMO Wireless Turbo G PCI Card utilizes MIMO XR (multiple in multiple out) antenna technology, and when used with the Wireless Turbo G with MIMO Router, allows you greater flexibility in choosing a location for your desk of office. The Smart Antenna technology includes two external antennas for signal reception, and a third one for high power signal transmission, effectively eliminating dead spots and automatically adjusting for interference caused by cordless phone users, etc. Customers using MIMO technology can typically expect to increase the range of their wireless network connections 10 times the distance of standard wireless G products1.

The MIMO Wireless Turbo G PCI Card is capable of utilizing the Packet-OVERDRIVE Turbo Mode feature to provide higher data throughput than the IEEE 802.11g standard. Turbo G mode is turned on automatically when connecting to a Wireless Turbo G with MIMO Router and can increase your actual throughput from 20 Mbps to 35 Mbps2.
