KV-PX701 all-in-one GPS navigation system
An all-in-one GPS navigation system with 4.3” Wide Monitor including SiRFstarIII™ chip for advanced accuracy, RDS-TMC tuner for real-time traffic information, Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, and media player function.
Built-in RDS-TMC (Traffic Message Channel) Tuner*
The TMC tuner gives you real-time information on the road ahead, and lets you plan faster routes by avoiding traffic jams. Since the TMC is built-in, there is no need to buy separate tuners.
* The KV-PX701 has built-in tuner. The KV-PX501 has the tuner on the accompanying cradle. The units are not compatible with fee-paid TMC services.
Driving Support Functions
The units feature driving support functions including motorway number announcement and speed limit/signpost display.
Bluetooth® Wireless Technology
The units have Bluetooth® Wireless Technology and built-in microphones for making hands-free calls, offering drivers safety and convenience. You can dial from records of past calls, your phone book, or by entering the phone number. The units also feature SMS (Short Message Service), which can display your incoming messages on the screen. You can also transfer your audio and video files from your mobile phone to the units*.
* Available functions depend on the Bluetooth compatible device.
Stress-Free Routing
The powerful 400MHz processor allows for fast, stress-free routing.
MP3 Player, Photo/Video Viewer, and Text Viewer
Just connect the headphones (included in KV-PX701 only), and the units become MP3 players. You can also enjoy music outdoors with your family and friends by listening on the speaker. Photo/Video viewers are also installed, letting you view your favourite still photos and video files. In addition, the KV-PX701 and KV-PX501 have TXT file viewers for reading Notepad files saved on SD cards.
Accurate Positioning
The built-in GPS (Global Positioning System) uses an ultra-sensitive SiRFstarIII™ chip (KV-PX701), for fast and accurate navigation.
Pre-Installed Map of All of Europe Offering Seamless Navigation
Both Western European and Eastern European maps are preinstalled (memory card for KV-PX501), so there's no need to purchase separate map data for each country/area.
