These days, carpets and rugs are no longer beaten, washing-up is often done by machine and the washtub died out long ago - only windows are still cleaned the old-fashioned way.
The K 250 window washer changes all that: It is a lightweight, battery-powered unit designed to clean windows, mirrors and other smooth, water-resistant surfaces much faster, better and easier than is possible by hand.
The K 250 can be compared to one of those hand-held window wipers you normally find at filling stations: Car windows are washed with the sponge side and then wiped clear with the rubber lip on the other side. The difference with the K 250 is that the hand nozzle does not have to be dipped in a bucket to wet the window. Cleaning solution is sprayed onto the surface with an electric pump. After cleaning the window with the microfibre side, you simply vacuum away the dirty water with the rubber lip. So no water drips on the floor while windows are being cleaned. And you can forget about the bucket, chamois-leather and newspaper as necessary evils for window cleaning.
The K 250 consists of a compact basic unit, about the size of a handbag, which incorporates the fresh water tank and dirty water recovery tank as well as the rechargeable battery, suction fan and spray pump. It is carried over one shoulder so that you only hold the hand nozzle, which is connected to the unit by a hose. The adjustable shoulder strap and the long suction hose ensure long periods of operation. The fresh water and dirty water recovery tank are easily removed for filling or emptying.
